MISSION
Film an out-of-this-world immersive music video for Koven’s new EP 'Reality Reach'
To celebrate the release of their new EP, EDM duo Koven wanted to send their EP cover 100,000 feet above the Earth. Footage from the journey was captured in 360° to be used as the basis for the music video for the single 'Do You'.
EXECUTION
Working with sponsor Jagermeister and label Monstercat, we launched Koven’s EP ‘Reality Reach’ into space in the hands of Monstercat’s mascot. Footage of the flight was captured with our propriety 360° camera system for immersive footage.
We pulled the footage together, cutting together exciting moments from various stages of the flight and designing a brand-specific heads-up display system overlay to highlight environmental data. All of this came together to create an immersive 360° music video for the single ‘Do You’.
The video was a success with 250,000 cross-platform views, and it was even shortlisted for the 2018 Austin Music Video Awards!
