There's one name in football that everyone's talking about right now: Erling Haaland. The 22-year-old made his Premier League debut for the 2022/23 season, playing for Manchester City. After a record-breaking few months, Haaland emerged as Premier League Player of the Season, Premier League Young Player of the Season, and winner of the Castrol Golden Boot, having broken the record for most goals scored in any Premier League season.
Collaborating with GOAL to Send Erling Haaland into space
In collaboration with GOAL, we decided that there's only one way to celebrate such an out-of-this-world athlete — by sending him to space! We launched a custom-built model of Haaland in his iconic zen pose from our site in Yorkshire, the birthplace of the man himself. We captured Haaland's journey as the model travelled high above the Earth, resulting in stunning footage of the player floating in space.
GOAL streamed the launch on their YouTube channel earlier today, on the 30th of May 2023. Alongside the launch, they are also giving away an exclusive Haaland model signed by the player! The launch went perfectly and the Haaland model and craft were both recovered intact — although we think the results speak for themselves.
