MISSION

Commemorate the Cricket World Cup trophy's arrival in India to kick off its world tour

The International Cricket Council is the world's major cricketing body. For this year's Cricket World Cup, they wanted to put together an unforgettable celebration of the cup's arrival in India to commence its international tour.

EXECUTION

We launched the Cricket World Cup trophy over the Indian city of Ahmedabad on purpose-built staging, to keep the trophy stable even when exposed to the harsh conditions of space.

With an in-built 4K camera system, we captured incredible footage of the trophy floating in space before landing at the centre of India's iconic Narendra Modi Stadium.

Footage of the trophy's journey and arrival at the stadium was released by the International Cricket Council to announce the trophy's world tour and received viral attention, with global news coverage and over a million views on YouTube in less than 48 hours.
