We secured Joko's personal items, including his ID card, keys, and glasses, to the inside of a briefcase which we launched over 100,000 feet above the Earth.

We designed and manufactured a mechanism to open the briefcase, capable of functioning in the freezing vacuum of space while remaining low-profile to maintain the sleek, minimal aesthetic of the shot.

We travelled to Germany to conduct the launch, arranging clearances to launch from an airfield in Fehrbellin, not far from Berlin. Footage of the briefcase’s ascent and subsequent opening was shared as part of Joko and Klaas’ 15-minute broadcast, viewed by millions and shared across social media.
